The Leslie Shankman School Corporation is a private, not-for-profit institution operating the Hyde Park Day Schools. The Hyde Park Day Schools help students with learning disabilities grow to their fullest potential with an enriched program that emphasizes the students' strengths and individual talents.

The Hyde Park Day School, opening in January 2000, has experienced numerous accomplishments, including accreditation by the North Central Association, an accepted new member of the Independent Schools of the Central States and a consistently growing enrollment, to the extent that we currently maintain a waiting list. Executive Director Dr. Pamela Adelman brings a lifelong commitment to the field of learning disabilities, as a teacher, researcher and administrator, to the Hyde Park Day School. In addition to Dr. Adelman's impressive credentials, she possesses a passion and commitment to children with learning disabilities that is evident from her contagious enthusiasm and dedication to her students.

We recognize the importance of each student's individual learning needs and strive to provide the necessary foundation, so that each student may achieve success in academic and non-academic situations alike. It is our hope that our commitment to children with special needs and educational excellence will allow our students to acquire skills essential for successful lifelong learning.

To meet demand, we have opened a Northfield campus for September 2004 enrollment. This exciting development was enthusiastically received by parent and professional communities, and we are grateful for their encouragement.
