of Hyde Park Day School is to provide students with learning disabilities
of average to superior ability with an innovative and comprehensive
educational model that will help prepare them for a successful
transition to public or private schools in their home community.
Our Values and Beliefs
We believe that:
- All children can learn and thrive;
- The educational best interest of each child
is the first priority;
- A successful school creates a nurturing,
secure, learning environment based on mutual respect, individual
achievement, and cooperation;
- The Individual Education Plan (IEP) is the
cornerstone of each student's personalized curriculum;
- The school's living mission is sustained
when the families and communities it serves have opportunities
for meaningful influence;
- An ongoing partnership with a major center
of learning is vital to the integration of theory, research,
and practice.
