The Hyde Park Day Schools (HPDS)
are private, not-for-profit day schools serving the needs
of children with learning disabilities.
With two Illinois
locations on the University of Chicago
campus in Chicago and north suburban Northfield, HPDS are
the only schools of their kind in the Chicago area.
HPDS schools offer a specialized LD
educational curriculum for students
with moderate-to-severe learning disabilities, and who are
of average-to-superior ability.
The HPDS approach emphasizes:
